Carl made videos during the wetlook 'golden age' in Germany from the mid 1990s until the early 2000s. I went to many events back in early 2000s and he would be there. Alcatraz disco, Luxus Pool party in Rotweil, Berlin Love Parade, etc. I talked to him a few times. At some point Hans from Akuna Video made a deal with some venues such as Alcatraz disco to have the sole right to make videos and Carl sort of disappeared at that point. Carl's video of a1990s video of a foam/pool party at Alcatraz is epic. There were hundreds of people there. Of course by today's hi res video quality makes the low res VHS tapes look pretty primitive.
