I guess I got interested about 5 or so as well, am now 68 and retired, swim thrice a week in a rashie (swimshirt) and shorts (not speedos) at the local pool (which doesn't like "long and flowing" clothes, though I do wear them in the nearby river and beach i.e. kaftans and umbrella dresses). Luckily acceptable swimwear has changed for the better since the 1990's when I would often be "gaslighted" at the local pool for "daring" to wear a T-shirt! (Though I did get away with swimming in a wedding dress once (by prior agreement with pool management) at Wavelengths) YAY :) A rashie suits me mainly nowadays at PIPs (public indoor pools), I can still wear all my hippie stuff in the bath or river anyway. Always flil your day with wonderful things :) |

By Wetlooker2 - Fri 21/04/23 12:40:55 GMT Just thinking about the age of all us wetlookers, I start already around 5 and feeling it was something special with wet clothes. I got more active around 10 or more when I was old enough to head out on the bike and.....find a beach near me.
Most active would be around 13-16 and even in young adult age, Im almost 40 now and living on my own since 19,5 year.
I would say if I answer myself, around 20-40, even under 20. But I know some of you are a lot older and still in to it....so wetlookers around the world can be up at 70 and over that to.
Oh, why not put your age in the subject......
