When I see a situation such as this (it’s definitely not the first theatre performance in a pool), my question is always: what do the participants make of this? Are they secretly turned on by it? Do they dread it but put up with the discomfort for the sake of the arts? Are they completely indifferent? If it was that unpleasant, they surely wouldn’t be doing it in the first place. I just wish I knew what goes through their minds.
