I took "thecoldplace"' suggestion and wrote the story. English is not my language so there may be some errors, but I hope you enjoy it.

The idea was:   "Set in the 80's, and in a gym, so think leggings, crop tops, baggy slouch socks, trainers/sneakers. Scene would be in the ladies changing room, leave it up to you, but erotic and girl girl following an intense work out, so hot, sweaty, fully clothed and in to the showers! Love descriptions of soaking squelching socks getting sodden."

So here goes the story:

The two friends were around 30 years old and used to work out together often. They were both very pretty, with slender bodies, one blonde, the other a brunette. The blonde one, Meghan, had a cute butt and medium sized breasts. Charlotte, the brunette, had smaller breasts, but a round and soft ass that got everyone staring everywhere she went.

Their gym hosted a special 80’s vintage fitness class that the girls decided to attend. Since they were going to do it, it had to be in full attire! Being a female-only class, they decided to make things fun by choosing the sexiest outfits they could think of.

Meghan went for a pair of seamless black sheer pantyhose with a green thong leotard over it, a pair of white baggy sports socks and some adidas sneakers. Charlotte chose a pair of tight stretchy white leggings over a white thong, a long-sleeved baby blue crop top and the same combination of baggy socks and sneakers her friend had.

The class was intense. Those 45 minutes of workout really got them sweating. Their skin was glistening with little drops, their cheeks red. The tight clothes were sticking to their bodies from the sweat, slightly damp.

The girls went to the changing room, still breathing fast and really relaxed, and noticed no one else was coming. Apparently, the rest of the ladies had gone off and they had that particular room all for themselves. Meghan, being the goofiest one, locked the door and started making sexy poses while they both laughed. She untied her hair and kicked off her sneakers but gave a little scream as she stepped with her soles on the floor, which was wet. She lifted her soles and Charlotte saw the contour of Meghan’s feet and toes through the now see-through cotton socks. Charlotte put a dance song playing on her phone and joined her friend dancing in front of the showers, which were a set of shower heads high along a wall, all next to each other. There were a couple inches of water on the floor here, and Meghan’s socks got wetter as the friends jumped around splashing water. Charlotte laughed saying water had gone into her sneakers and her socks were also wet now.

All of a sudden Meghan says to Charlotte “I don’t think you’re as wet as you can get” and pushes the button on the wall to activate the shower head above Charlotte. She yells and runs from under the water jet, standing speechless in front of her friend who just laughs. Charlotte’s top is about half wet, her left arm and breast have changed color from baby blue to dark blue, and her nipple is showing through the fabric. The leggings went transparent on her left leg and the sock on her left foot is heavy and dripping. When she moves her sneakers make a squishing sound.

After recovering from the shock, Charlotte grabs her friend and pushes her onto the shower wall, then pressing the water jet button. Meghan screams and gets drenched while jumping hopelessly on her toes beneath the shower head. When the water turns itself off, Meghan’s black pantyhose is shining, one of the socks went off with all the jumping and her pretty foot with toenails painted red is visible under the nylon fabric. The other sock weighs a lot from all the water it absorbed. Her green leotard sticks to her skin, presenting Charlotte with a pair of lovely round breasts.

Meghan turns the water on again and pulls Charlotte’s hand to bring her under the shower. Both girls stay quiet for a while staring at each other as the water fills every inch of their clothes and bodies. Their faces get a bit flushed from the situation. They gently slide their hands on their bodies, feeling each other’s curves. Charlotte touches her friends’ breasts, first timidly, then with ease, caressing her now hard nipples through the green leotard.

Meghan gets on her knees and slowly turns Charlotte around. Her perfect round ass is right in front of her face. The white leggings are painted on her buttocks. Suddenly, a gym employee knocks on the door and orders whoever is inside to unlock it. The girls freeze. Meghan puts on her other sock which stood on the floor the whole time, and drips with water. Then she sticks on her sneakers which are also filled to the top with water that comes out as the feet go in. They don’t even think about drying or changing walking to the lockers completely soaked and putting on their jackets, picking up their bags and leaving the changing room pacing fast hoping the employee doesn’t understand what happened.

They run out of the building leaving a trace of wet footsteps and loudly squishing their socks and sneakers. When they finally get to the street it’s already dark which makes it less likely people noticed two girls dripping wet in tight sheer clothes. They laugh and walk home dripping.
