This is an odd comparison. But I noticed this with Anne Hathaway. She gets more hate than most other celebrities.

I believe the reason is, it affects her - it hurts her feelings. She's said so. So the haters are highly motivated to continue. It makes them feel powerful, and significant, and that they are successfully exacting their revenge on a celebrity, living a life she never earned and couldn't possibly deserve. Living the life that THEY - in their twisted worldview - believe they deserve.

No other wetlook producer has ever interfaced with his customers like Dima, the way he does. I think this is the same thing. Give negative people a target, and they will gleefully explode on you.

It's particularly toxic in anything related to sex, since many men will experience vicious self-loathing for "having to pay for sex" (or in this case material for arousal). This causes a resentment that can explode at the producer, who is, ironically, the only one giving them what they want.

This isn't the case with other wetlook producers. Leonmoomin will take your head off if you attack him, and as long as he is making money, couldn't care less what you think. The other producers make the videos they want, and if the market will bear the price, they stay in business.

Typically it doesn't and most wetlook sites fail.

Actually you don't need a VPN or multiple IP addresses. You can rate a set multiple times by simply using "incognito mode" or clearing your cookies/history. Perhaps ratings would make sense if you needed an account in order to rate sets.

If Dima can't block the person due to dynamic IP or vpns (it must be one person, as it started abruptly), it's probably time to get rid of the voting and judge only by sales and opinions sent by email, as this downvoting might discourage models and make them feel bad.

Wetlooker 'hate" voting

I just voted excellent on one of the new posts and was disappointed to see a whole lot of bad reviews on the widget. I then decided to do a quick check back and found that any photo shoot published before the 4 girls in evening wear that was the feature of a long discussion on the forum are rated with predominantly grid votes, whereas any published after have mostly low grades. I think it is clear that someone has a grudge and wishes to insult both the models and Dima. Maybe it would be beneficial for the voting widget to have a time out - hopefully the hater will get bored and move on
