not at all, making the most of natural wetlook for your own personal satisfaction is perfectly fine, the line you shouldn't cross is making it obvious to the people involved, or sharing those pictures/vids where they are not appreciated, ie seen by the people involved that find it distasteful or people in general find it distasteful.

the question of wither wellies dry out is pretty stupid one in any case, thats what they are designed to do as the likely hood of wellies getting wet inside during a flood situation is considered 100% probability

reason for not taking them off at first is due to unknown objects, ickyness unseen in the water, it is possible she may have taken them off if she thought the area was safe vs walking in them.

sometimes we want to know something but we just let it go them wait for the next thing to come along.

if you truly want to know what its like for the girl in the flood in wellies its pretty much so a unisex thing so as you mentioned you have floods in your area, put on some shorts and wellies and go try it out, might even get a better satisfaction from putting the camera down and helping out.

Its quite interesting being in a wetlook situation other than purely doing it for wetlook sake.
