My girlfriend and I were staying at a beach resort in St. Thomas. One night after dinner we walked back to the hotel along the beach. She was wearing a full length sleeveless sundress, and I had on jeans and a white shirt.

We became playful, wading in the surf and splashing a bit. When we arrived at one of the two hotel pools I tried to coax her in fully clothed. She was hesitant, not wanting to ruin her dress. She suggested a couple of times that we go back to the room and change into our bathing suits but I wanted to be spontaneous. Finally she went with it, but in her own way, first looking around to make sure we were alone, and then stripping out of her dress!

Dumbstruck, as she waited in her white bra and pink cotton panties, I ripped off my shirt, but for whatever reason kept my jeans on. We then slipped into the jacuzzi and began fooling around.

After a while we got out and dove into the pool. As we were swimming a male hotel employee happened to come by. My girl was in the water but it was quite obvious that she was in her bra and panties. I think she got a little self conscious here and insisted I take off my jeans so it wouldn't be so obvious we weren't in swimwear. Not sure about her logic but I obliged. We swam some more in our underwear and then made our way out. She looked amazing standing poolside in public in her now transparent lingerie.

We then got dressed to walk back and her once only slightly damp dress was now clinging to her wet body. Soon we came across the other pool, just outside the hotel lobby. Not done yet, I stepped in to rinse the sand off my feet. She joined me and for one last hurrah I took her and tossed us in, this time completely clothed! She laughed, no harm done at this point. As we climbed out soaking wet in the same clothes we had worn out on the town another young couple came by. They looked at us and smiled, asking if the pool was still open. As we wrung out our sopping wet clothes I said "be our guests".

I have swum in hotel pools fully clothed more times than I can count. I try to make it later at night to reduce the risk that someone might come in and “catch” me. I have been busted a few times; however no one really has ever blinked an eye.

I had a very memorable experience one time many years ago. I went to the pool with the intent of going in with my jeans and t-shirt on. The woman from the front desk was setting tables in the breakfast area, (which overlooked the pool through some big windows). I wasn’t comfortable going in with her being able to see me, so I went back to my room. I returned about an hour later hoping that she would be gone. However, this time, she was cleaning up the pool area, wiping off tables, straightening chairs, etc. I though to myself, what if I can “fall” in, making it look like an accident. I walked into the pool area with my phone to my ear, pretending to talk to someone. I stooped down to feel the water. When I did, I jerked my head to make my reading glasses fall off of my forehead and into the water. The woman noticed what happened, and grabbed the net with the intent of scoping the glasses out. I told her that I was afraid that the glasses world be dragged on the pool bottom and that they would be scratched. She said, “I can just go in after them for you.” I said, “With your clothes on??? I can’t let you do that!” She replied that her shift was just about over and that her replacement was already at the front desk. (Who was I to stop her at this point?) She kicked her shoes off, (but left her sock on), removed her watch and her phone from her pocket. She then walked over the pool edge and jumped in with her uniform on. I couldn’t believe it. She dove under and grabbed the glasses. Well, I still wanted to go in. So when she came up and went to hand me the glasses, I let me foot slip off of the edge and I fell into the pool with her, (making sure that I did not fall on her). She screamed, “Oh my god, did I make you fall?” We both laughed. She went under again to brush her hair back and out of her face. I thanked her and told her that I was going to recommend her for a promotion for going above and beyond that call of duty. She climbed out, grabbed a towel and her stuff, and away she went. True story.

Stayed at a hotel last night and couldn't resist the temptation of a clothed swim in the hotel pool. I am always nervous - after all I find a clothed swim not just sensual (given that it is a public pool that obviously stands back), but deeply personal. It's a personal expression of what is important to me and I don't want to be judged for it. And I love the thrill of doing the "forbidden". When I go I go, no scouting out the pool beforehand, no chickening out. From past experiences I am amazed that people just simply don't care. Often I would actually like to get feedback or questions, but I am very thankful for the tolerance.

A while back I got into triathlons and over time I have gotten a bit more comfortable with the actual swimming itself. My training book suggested adding a T-shirt to a swim for a harder workout - well, I aced that class by also adding jeans and long-sleeve T-shirt :-). I definitely got my workout.
