By jollywetfellow - Thu 31/01/19 10:52:06 GMT Perhaps (in fictional terms) because, whilst failing to learn to swim, she also failed to learn that boots are normally taken off while doing so?
BTW, had you noticed that in the South American links I am posting the men quite often swim with their wellies on? The ladies much less often, but I have seen a couple. They are hopefully in the long list of ladies whose pics I have yet to sort and post - when I come to them I'll try to remember to mention the wellies in the subject box. (They almost never wear fashion boots in any circs). |
In reply to Message (76052) a question about the Poseidon Adventure (1972)
By Arthur Peasemold Gruntfuttock - Thu 31/01/19 06:40:46 GMT Regarding the characte of Nonnie, played by Carol Lynley - Why, despite claiming she can't swim, does she leave her boots on when swimming underwater? Somebody making the film had a fetish for girls wearing wet boots?
