But that was several years ago that Leon and Wet Brian used to attend those UK events. They stopped going after a few years, cos the crowds became so large at those UK events....it was pretty impossible to capture a lot of good stuff....cos those UK events are all one big mad dash into the ocean....and you cannot easily capture hundreds of people all running past your camera at the same time. So...those UK events were impossible to get much footage or decent pics from....cos there is too much chaos and it is like trying to film ants in an ant's next. I do have the footage they shot from those events....you can find it on various dvds and clips on our old sites. But in the past 5 years...nobody has covered the UK swim events....cos it is just too cold and there is too much unorganized chaos at these events.

It is a lot easier to film and take pics at the U.S. polar plunge events....cos

a)  at those events they are far more safety conscious....so they do not allow hundreds of people to all dash into the water at one time...they stagger the people and control them in small groups...so their fire rescue safety people can better monitor small groups of people going into the water in small groups only....so....there is no chaos at the u.s. events....and it is well controlled with small groups of people at one time....so it is easier to take piics and video....cos nobody is running past your camera at high speed etc.....and

b) at the U.S. events.....they always have "warm up stations"....where they will deploy several hot tubs nearby...so the people exiting the cold water can warm up in the hot tubs....and thats a good place to hang out when you attend those Hooters Girls events...

Anyway.....the UK events are not covered by any wetlook fans for the last 5 years.

But the U.S.Polar Plunge events are now being covered by Weinerking and his crew.....and they have captured some amazing photos and videos so far....but you will have to wait....cos Weinerking is still in processing of editing things....so watch his site later this summer for his new updates.
