This happened here in Wisconsin. I don't know if they intentionally jumped in the lake, or if the pier collapsed on them. I could find the link easily, but I choose not to, since some of the people in that picture are under 18 (which is the age of majority in the USA).

Surprised no one has mentioned this. A bunch of high school kids lined up on a pier on a lake this past week for a photo...and the pier collapsed, dumping a bunch of them into the lake. There are photos online. Since I don't know if all the girls are 17 or 18 I wont post any links but its easy to find with a search.
