wow... it was not my intention to start a debate... I didn't follow the earlier discussion, but I don't like to stir up controversy *unnecessarily* My only intention was to label this video as a "baptism" video - for the other people who also avoid such things. I suppose at the same time, it labeled the video for the baptism fans as well!

But I certainly enjoy free and open *constructive* speech, which this thread appears to me so far!

One counterpoint to Anthony - I think that MANY Christian will continue to post baptism videos, for various reasons - one of which is because (although unintended) it is spreading the "word"... it is exposing people to Christianity who might not have been aware of it... it is almost humors of me to imagine, someone with no clue, and thinks - hey look... wetlook fans, I'm going to go down to my local church and ask to be baptized!

Hopefully no body hates me for my next comment... (and please withhold your judgement until I finish) well, um, I certainly can get excited by the gorgeous model in an evening gown getting dunked in a dunktank... but from a completely different perspective, I do not get any of *THAT* excitement whenever I happen to see a video of VERY young children (say 3~5 years old) playing in fountains... In that case, it is different. Somehow it is very pure joy, to watch and see (and hear) the shrieks of laughter as this young child plays with the shooting water jets. I have never posted any youtube links, I don't think I ever will - I never search for it specifically either, although sometimes I stumble across them - but my best memories of this come from real life, anyway... *watching* only - and please remember, there is no *excitement* either...

I agree with MK regarding the definition of "fetish", because I've heard a number of "experts" in the field make the same statement... it's a fetish when the object is required in order for a person to achieve an orgasm. In other words, you're a wetlook fetishist when you can't achieve an orgasm without either employing or fantasizing about wet clothes. If it's not required, it is isn't a fetish.

I don't think we all share a wet clothes fetish, because I'm pretty sure not all of us need it to get off. But, I would say that we probably all get aroused by wet clothed women, and that the arousal is stronger because of the wetlook than it might be otherwise, but that doesn't make it a fetish.

Getting turned on by girls/women having a full-immersion baptism is what it is, and anyone who gets turned on shouldn't have to feel that it's wrong. I think that sharing video clips of baptisms because we know they are a sexual turn-on for some people is less than politically correct. I'm not religious, but I do have respect for the sensibilities of others. I'll never share a baptism clip, other than a scene from a movie or TV (not that I'm likely to find any outside of this forum). When a scene is staged, acted, and shot as entertainment, we can each enjoy it any way we choose; when it's a candid "home movie" record, it's a little different, and some degree of respect is owed to the person(s) appearing on camera. I will say that the people who shoot and post these baptism events might perhaps give a little more thought to what they are doing, and not make them available to the world at large.

The Dr lady in Canada is not correct....cos not "everybody" has a fetish and it is not true to say that "One cannot acheive an orgasm if one does not have a fantasy in their mind"

...cos I can point to many examples where people have no problems achieving orgasm without having any fetish thoughts in their mind beforehand....e.g. I am pretty sure that drunken college kids at Spring Break do not need to have any fetish thoughts in their heads in order to achieve orgasm -- all they need is a party atmosphere and some alcohol or drugs, and millions of guys are loaded with enough testosterone and their cave-man instints are all they need in order to have sex....they do not need to have fetish fantasies in their heads.....just their own primal instincts.

I am no Doctor but the dictionary definition of a fetishist is a person who "worships an object" and is UNABLE to achieve orgasm unless he/she is worshipping that object....so that pretty clearly defines the difference between a fetishist and a non fetishist...i.e.

- non fetishists are the vast majority of people who can achieve orgasm via their own testostorone or via their own primal instincts...aided with such things as alcohol and foreplay.....but no fetish fantasies are required.

- Fetishists are people who can ONLY achieve orgasm when they are engaging in the worship of their preferred object (fetish subject matter)

- a "Hobbyist"...as far as wetlook fans are concerned....is a person who can achieve orgasm without the need for wetlook foreplay or fantasies, but can also enjoy some wetlook fun at times too....i.e. a take it or leave it person

I have never seen any stats on this, but my guess is that at least 90% of humans are non fetishists and can have sex using their own primal instincts and without any need for special fantasies...and fetishists are no more then 10% of the population.

My guess is that that obviously 100% of the people on this forum are fetishists....but probably about 50% of them are just "wetlook hobbyists" (they can have traditional sex without any need for wetlook foreplay too)....and the other 50% on this forum are hardcore wetlook fetishists (i.e. they cannot achiveve orgasm without having wetlook fantasies or foreplay being involved).

As I said...I am not a doctor...and so my assessments are purely based on my 30 years of talking to many thousands of wetlook fans by email....and their feedback.....

I can understand why some people may not want to watch baptism videos.. I myself and a Christian who was also baptised in this manner. But not to start a heated debate, just wanted people to understand. Wet is wet, no matter how it is.

A fetish is still a fetish and although I feel your point and those of others, if you still look at other female wetlook videos in the manner of a fetish and lust, then you are still guilty..Just to say I cannot watch Baptism videos should keep me pure does not excuse a person. NOW children..Thats a a whole new ballgame and is not considered a fetish as much as it is a petaphile and this is morrally wrong.

Everyone has a fetish and The lady in Canada (Dr Sue. Johannsen) I am sure some of you have heard of her.....

We on this forum just use that fantasy as water....Others...feet, jeans, shoes..ect.... so this is just a major point that needds to be addressed I felt and is not intended for any type of harrassing debate...Just for thought..
