But before I do, I'll add my support to the honesty/up front theory. Let her know. That way, she knows, and if she doesn't like it, you'll know as early as possible.

My wife hates the feeling of wet clothes. If she were German, she'd probably be naked almost all the time. But she's Eastern European and repressed, so she wears a suit and dislikes the feeling.

From the beginning, she's only got wet with me when it was hot (like now) and she had no suit available. This is where the repression comes in handy. She will use sprinklers, even the powerful ones they've had around Warsaw the last couple weeks. Got utterly drenched with me last week! (I think you know from what I've written that you-know-where will freeze long before there a chance of any pictures of that!) But there was a rule-- no cuddling.

It's kind of a compromise. Early on I pushed too hard, pushed the wrong buttons, and now it all disgusts her. Not so much as underwear in the shower or bath is ok.

So for me, it's mostly secret. I've gotten pretty good at having somewhere to be / something to do while she's at work, just in case she tries to call; and dealing with the wet clothes afterwards so she never knows they were wet. I try to take advantage of laundry days, for example. I can swim in t-shirts because of the sun, and cargo pants without the legs are OK with her. Anything more than that, if she's going to know about my swim, requires a performance of 'great need.' And she won't be with me.

I agree with the advice here. Definitely tell her about your love for wet clothes. But do so when she's in a fun mood, suggest a swim when she'll be warm, and DON'T PUSH. EVER. (That last bit is good advice for anything, really.)
