Yeah, what a terrible thing to "force" on someone, an economic system that has resulted in a standard of living and prosperity that is better than anything ever seen on earth. Er...maybe most other nations are adopting it because they are tired of living in squallar? Ever been to a nation that isn't capitalistic? It ain't pretty...
Meh, lawyers do suck, but I've been to countries that don't really have em, and they are NOT places I'd like to live...
There's still many places in the US that hasn't forgotten it's roots. I grew up in the country where no one even batted an eye if we all went swimming in our clothes. I think that's why I got into wetlook at such an early age. :) I still remember seeing the local high school cheerleaders in the dunk tank at the fair. Now there's a sight you never forget. Our dunk tanks were only 2 feet deep, but you landed horizontal, so you got to see the girls stand up in it, soaking wet. On the last day of school, we always dropped the cute girls into the irrigation ditch that ran through the school during lunch, and had a huge water fight in the parking lot after school.
Too many people get their impression of America from TV and the media, but that is all crap, nothing at all like the real America. |

By plonss - Thu 08/07/10 01:39:31 GMT forcing many other countries to accept the 24-hour economy, and the domination of big capitalism. What is the future of wetlook ?? and indeed any form of leisure or pleasure - I am going to weep now |
In reply to Message (45134.2.1) Well, I guess I rest my case with you.
By the thinker - Wed 07/07/10 23:06:11 GMT USMC and Army (wetlook for them?) probally training not just for fun and yes America...TOOOO many damn lawyers like G. Carlin once said.."they go out on the golf course to try and divide up the world among themselves.
Sad...a great nation has forgotten its roots about its people..Kinda like mega stores you know...they get bigger..all they want is more more more...Not to serve the customer, but pad the corperates.. Agree?

In reply to Message (45134.2) What the hell are you talking about?
By Hans - Wed 07/07/10 22:41:33 GMT Most USMC and Army bases in the USA sponsor Mud Runs and other events similar to this each year. Plenty of mud and wetlook opportunity.
Also, wars and world domination have little to do with a country that allows lawyers and insurance companies to over-regulate its own people and the events they may participate in. |
In reply to Message (45134) you know why america never hold things like this?

Well...America is much to too busy to have fun like other countries do in wetlook.
Our government is too busy having wars and trying to rule the world and there for doesn't give a damn about fun.
Some may not like it, but it is the truth and as my mom use to tell me son...the truth hurts...lies don't.......
hope some will agree or no...
