An interesting Youtube....but also very frustrating......i.e. how can they say that was a "pool party".....when nobody except for 1 guy went into the pool.

What a pointless waste of building a pool set on stage....when you don't actually use it at all.

This reminds me of a lot of Greek TV dramas I often see on satellite tv....i.e. they often have loads of well dressed ladies around a pool....but nothing ever happens and nobody ever goes in. At least the Spanish tv dramas are much better....i.e. cos when they have a pool as a backdrop...STUFF HAPPENS....and.they USE IT...and people go in the pool....same thing with German tv shows too.

I just don't get it....why tv producers bother to go to the expense of building pool sets...and then they don't use the pool at all.

The happening was indeed scripted. The story is the following:

Back in 1984 the Song Contest was a kind of a pool party and one appearance has been a “classic”. This happens in the song “Det li’ det” as the female singer pushes the male singer in the pool

To celebrate “the old days” the two hosts sings a medley of old classic songs. And to fulfill the classic the female hostess push the male in the pool when they came to this 1984-song but as a nice twist she got dragged in herself.

The actual show looks the rehearsal show very much with one exception – and that is a shame: We don’t see them get out of the pool: There are nice before and during scenes. And there is a nice scene where she stands in the pool soaking wet… the pool is only about a half meter deep … but no shots where she gets out of the pool.

Nice pics.....yes...please upload the actual show scenes....cos the pics only show the rehearsal show scenes, not the actual scenes from the show.

What I do not understand is...how come the hostess "falls in the pool" during the rehearsal show....and then apparently she does it again in the actual day of the show....so this suggests that nothing in the main show was spontaneous...and it was all staged and rehearsed beforehand.

Saturday Night was the final of the "Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2010" (Song Contest).

It was a show with a lot of water - and a stage pool.

One song includes a woman in a small pool but the main event was when the two hosts "falls" in the pool. The female hostess Julie in dress and heels.
