There is a simpler way than using external pages or other programs. I use Firefox with the "1-Click Youtbe Video Download" extension, 3 links appear under every Youtube Video when playing it, named FLV MP4 3GP. There are many other plugins to use and make our live simpler ;)
Get Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ Get Plugin here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13990
If your computer is old like mine (aka around 1Ghz) and Youtube videos play jerky, use GreaseMonkey plugin with "Force Low Quality Flash" script.
Get GreaseMonkey here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 Get Flash script here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/38994
Happy sailing ;)

By Malvineous - mrnemesis@ntlworld.com Sat 06/02/10 18:21:12 GMT I'd like something that will de-interleave the streams held within the FLV/MP4. I don't see any use in decoding and re-encoding a video that has a perfectly good 44.1 kHz AAC audio stream -- I just want to unravel the file and deposit the AAC stream into its own file so that I can keep it. (Ditto MP3 audio streams.) |
