First of all this is a personal opinion and is not meant to court any controversy.

Since the UMD changed I have stopped using it. For me the site has become overcomplicated and unwieldy. What was wrong with the much simpler alphabetical system within designated categories? Okay, it was not kept up to date as often as it could, but there again, this is a free site for the benefit of the communities it serves, so no blame should be attached. However, if this problem could have been overcome with voluntary moderators used then if it ain't broke why fix it? It still has a lot going for it and always will have. The information it contaions is fantastic. However, often you cannot access information about a site because not all of the sites get a mention. Even the search facility is not as good as the old one.

I am not computer illiterate before anyone raises that point, and I do know my way around search parameters. For me, however, it would be a lot better if the old alphabetical system could be resurrected as it would make things so much easier..

I will throw this open obviously but please, no abuse or criticism. As I said in the beginning this a PERSONAL opinion only.
