I have told my girlfriends about it early on. It was never a problem. IMHO, the best time to raise it is when the relationship has turned sexual and you are in the process of learning each other's preferences and turn-ons. I've followed that rule-of-thumb and got the following responses:

One girlfriend was curious to the point of watching some producer videos with me - totally open to wet clothes as fun or foreplay.

Another girlfriend was indifferent i.e. "no big deal" - probably relieved that it wasn't anything really dark.

Yet another girlfriend was so interested as to work with me shooting some wetlook pictures.

My current girlfriend knows, seems curious, but it's still something yet to be explored. At any rate, it's not a secret and I'm letting her "discover" it at her own pace rather than either push it on her or keep anything hidden - it's all their to be explored whenever she is ready. I haven't talked to her about my video collection other than to let her know of its existence.

Since we aren't living with each other yet, I haven't had to address some of these issues (purchasing/viewing materials)... but I imagine it will go easier by her knowing about it up front than discovering it later. My guess is she will accept it mostly under the premise of "there are worse things".

My girlfriend and I are together for 2 years now. In july we will rent a little house, so we will give up our seperate appartements and move together.

I wonder how You manage consuming wetlook material like videos and pictures without letting your girlfriend or wife know.

What about ordering DVDs and viewing wet material on your PC? How do you manage that?
