As with almost everywhere else, there is occasional impromptu casual wetlook to be seen in Scotland on hot Sunny Summer days - (yes they DO happen - even in Scotland), where water and people meet. I have seen a reasonable amount at the weir in the Teviot in Hawick (which is also close to the High School playing fields and the sixth form college). And I have seen hill walkers cool off fully clothed in lochans in the Highlands. There are YouTubes of people jumping off a pier into the sea near Aberdeen. I imagine St. Andrews might be good too, but I have no experience. You will have to look around for good spots in towns and cities near where you live. It is however VERY seasonal - generally during May to August on the hottest sunniest afternoons. Good Luck! |
