maybe a few other posters here remember some of these?

Another scene was bagging the Mississippi during one of the worst floods in history. I am not bothering at the moment to look up which year.. it was mid 90's, anyway, people pitched in to form a line to move sand bags. Again out of all the people in that line, the camera person focused on a lady passing bags, dressed in a business suit, heels with nylons ankle deep in water. (nice legs too, an attractive woman)  I would normally say the clip was to show the Mississippi was flooding anyway, in spite of the futility of bagging the levees. And yet there was another of two young women walking chest deep in a jacket and the other in a sweater, (I seem to recall) laughing it off as if just a casual walk down mainstreet. (these were mostly fun and casual scenes of flooded areas where people were going about business as usual)  I was surprised since this beat to pieces anything that hollywood ever does, and the blatant avoidance of showing anybody wet (except maybe a man) in hollywoof film, and television in general. (but we get plenty of blood and guts... go figure)

But the weather channel aired wet clothed clips for a while, and then they suddenly disappeared.
