Listen to your prospective customers. They are the ones that will be spending the money. You may enjoy one thing. If nobody else does then you will be looking for work at McDonalds.

Don't give your products away. But, follow this site and see what the successful people do. Almost every new video, DVD or photo set has two or three EXCELLENT photos posted here. People want to see what they are buying.

My favorite gripe is that some of the "pros" don't pay attention to what they are doing and don't follow basic photographic principles. Lots of light so we can see the model.

Concentrate on lighting, exposure, focus and the little things that make up photography.

Keep posting here and ask how to improve things that aren't working well.

Get some shots posted here to see what you are starting with.

BTW, digital is the way to go. Hate to say that because for years I was a 35mm photog. Now I only shoot digital.

Best of luck and upload a few shots now.

Hi Everyone. My wife and I are wanting to start up a new wet and muddy website to try and possibly earn a little extra cash. We don't want to get rich off of it, just a little extra to help us eat!! The current financial times have literally wiped us out. So we decided, " What the hey", and want to something we both love doing. We've been very modest in the past about our adventures but decided that there is nothing weird about it. We are, however conservative with our photos - no nudity. We are looking for advice on what we need to do because we are both computer illiterate for the most part. I am trying to post a few sample pix here, but can't figure that out either. Duh... haha So we need basic info from the ground up on what to do to get started.
