I was in Thailand last year and I went to the beach two days. Both days I saw lots off people swimming in clothes. From full length jeans till shorts and skirts. This was on a normal public beach and no one looked strange or anything. Even the girl who was with me swim in here clothes (without having spare ones...) This was in the area around Pataya (NOT a nice place to be by the way...). Good luck...

We are going to Thailand and my wife says she will swim with her clothes on if the locals do. Is this going to happen or is it just travellers tails. Do the locals swim fully clothes. If so - I cannot wait.

I wont have any dry clothes after a few days. I am picking out her wardrobe right now.
