Have you been to www.abusedshoes.com A site and forum dedicated to all types of abuse (mud water fire etc) to shoes and boots!

My GF has many shoes & boots, some real leather some fake leather etc. I have always abused them without her knowing and I have not seen much difference between the two. I think aslong as they dry out naturally the damage is very small.

I want to get some boots for my ladyfriend to get wet,she dosnt have a problem doing wetlook for me but we wondered if anyone else into wet boots finds leather gets spoilt quickly?Would leatherlook pvc be better choice for regular wetting plus hopefully a bit of mud too?I want her to wear the boots when we go out so dont want them looking too tatty before a soaking.
