You have my sincerest sympathies. I can't imagine being married to a woman who wouldn't at least be willing to play along for me on occasion. Especially something silly like getting wet in clothes. It's not like you're asking to crap on her chest or something.

While the point was made that wetlook should not be the base of a marraige, and I agree, it's also not fair to one's self to deny who you really are. Wetlook, for a lot of people, is a very big part of their lives. Wam is a HUGE part of my life. It dictated where I bought a house, made me build a mudpit in my yard and have to find ways to explain that to family and friends, cost me countless dollars in clothing... Some would see this as a problem, but I see it as me. Some guys spend $$$ and lots of thought and time on hot cars, gambling, following bands around the country, the Home Shopping Network... I could no more stop wamming than I could stop being a guy. The two are inseparable.

Now if my wife flat-out refused to participate, or worse, condemned me for doing it, I'd really have trouble with that. It'd be denying me of a huge aspect of my emotional, physical and (yes) spiritual needs (I find mud very spiritual.) I can't imagine how miserable I'd be, and how disconnected I'd feel from her. My love for her runs as deep as love can go, and part of that is wamming.

But keep in mind my longest relationship before Stacey was about six weeks long, and we met when I was 26. I simply refused to be involved with someone who couldn't be there for me all the way. For younger guys, I guess that's my advice. Be sure your girl will either indulge you or at least accept it. For those stuck now... damn, just don't give up. I guess. After 20 years I'd probably give up. Again, you have my sympathies. I only hope it gets better for you.

Guys - I've been married over 20 years. My experience has been that my wife thinks wet look is some kind of wierd thing and therefore does not do it unless I force it on her (in a nice way ... not some kind of abuse). The same is true for any kind of fun fetish sex play - stockings, sexy lingerie, etc. For her, nude in the missionary position is as good as it gets, and that once a week if I am lucky.

I have such a bigger sex drive than her. My guess is that the same ladies who turn up their nose at getting wet turn up their nose and make you feel like a preditory fool for other types of very benign fetishes. I have been disappointed my whole life with this important aspect of my marriage, and I am about to throw in the towel.

Would you guys agree with me? Some women just love sex and play and most forms of playful fetishes, and the others turn off to anything other than the basics. that's my experience.

To you younger guys or anyone that is not married, I would never go into it again (marriage that is) without knowing my future wife's feelings and reactions to these. If she's a prude, let it go. You will be miserable forever, and just satisfying yourself on the net. Sad but true.
