Some people here are not very happy when it comes to technical details, so let's make it short:
(1) Get the page source text. The interesting part is in th JS function embedplayer_switch(). You find a link there for the embedded player, in this case its 'httq://www.myvideo.de/movie/_1204860'.
(2) Get the HTTP headers for this address, e. g. using 'wget -S' or 'curl -I' (it's just a redirection) and find the 'Location:' header. Here it's 'Location: httq://myvideo-860.vo.llnwd.net/d2/player/exPlayerV9a.swf?V=httq://myvideo-860.vo.llnwd.net/d2/movie2/b5/1204860.flv&ID=1204860'.
(3) Take the last part of it. (I've used httq instead of http in the above text just to prevent people form clicking.)
It's basically all the same as with youtube, and it would be possible to automate it just like keepvid already does for youtube, or to write a shell script.
