Most conflicts and wars in the world today can be traced back to religion. The Middle East is a prime example of that. A lot of people find strength in their religion, and I think thats teriffic, but alot of other people use their interpretation of religion as an excuse to hate people or things that they don't understand or are afraid of.

I do believe in a higher power but that's about as far as it goes for me. I grew up in a fairly strict Catholic family and I've seen enough of that. 'Snot for me!

As for modesty, I believe in some Arab nations women are only allowed to show their eyes and have to be covered from head to toe. What the hell is that all about? I don't want to live in a society like that. Do you? God put us on this earth naked. He made us attractive and horny when we're young so we'll procreate. Then we get older and less attractive when it's time to slow down with breeding and take care of our families. Doesn't always work out that way but for the most part it's a pretty solid system.

I think the wetlook thing is hot because it's kind of wild and care-free. Like, fuck it, I want to go swimming. I'm just going to jump in this pool with all my clothes on. But what I really love is when those wet clothes come off!!

For all you guys who are having trouble convincing your wives that swimming fully clothed is the way to go, tell them this reason. That other men have no business seeing all the exposed flesh that bikinis (and even one-piece swimsuits) show off, that only her husband has a right to see her nearly naked (which is exactly what a bikini-clad woman is!). As a born-again Christian, I believe in modest clothes. Much of today's fashions are immodest and indecent. Women's swimsuits are the absolute worst offenders. In my opinion, it is improper and indecent to show that much skin in public. Swimming is no exception. All women and men should wear at least a tank top and shorts when swimming. Men's boxer-style trunks are ok, since they are essentially a type of shorts that some designer declared to be "swimwear". I never swim without a shirt because a) I don't feel comfortable exposing my naked top half to the world, and b) you wouldn't want to see a 36 year old fat man's gut anyway! This world really needs more modesty and wholesomeness, and ditching flesh-revelaing swimwear and swimming fully clothed would be a great start! Religion-required modesty also provides a great answer to questions of "why are you swimming with your clothes on?". Don't lie and use this answer if it isn't true for you, but it is true for me. I hope I have provided some nice food for thought for everyone today.
