You worry me Tyra :P
At least it means that everyone in Britain and the US can go on pronouncing it as we were and not be getting it wrong, woo. Nadine, though, would be like Nadiner, right? (terminal 'e' is not skipped in German) |

By Telcontar - mrnemesis@ntlworld.com Fri 05/05/06 06:31:21 GMT Website: http://telcontar.net/ Heck, while we're grilling poor Tyra, another question! How do you pronounce "Tyra"? Something like Toorra? (As opposed to like "Tie-ra" as in, like a neck tie) It's not a common spelling in German as far as I know, the only thing similar is Paul van Dyk, which comes out as something like "dook" (but should be "took", right?) Not that it's his real name anyway! I don't ever recall being taught how to say words with 'y's in as vowels at school! (Are there any?)
Ah, German is a fun language... I still need an excuse to learn it again, it's been so many years.
