When they arrest a very rich person, when they read them their rights, do they have to say the part about "if you can't afford an attorney, a public defender will be provided free of charge"? My guess is that they do have to say that and even said it to O.J.! |

By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Thu 27/04/06 04:43:58 GMT There are numerous American laws that I don't understand either.....one of the silliest worded phrases that you often hear on Cop shows dating back to "The FBI" tv series in the 1960's to "Cops" today....is that they always say that somebody is being charged with "unlawful flight to escape prosecution".......so does that mean there is such a thing a "lawful flight"....of course not....so the wording is redundant.
In relation to wetlook laws.....all you have to do is read the notice boards at many waterparks in America....and you will often see in their rules "No T Backs".......damn....I was so looking forward to trying mine out.....ha ha |

By Gator - Wed 26/04/06 20:31:11 GMT According to www.dumblaws.com it is the law in Oregon to bathe in clothes.
"One may not bathe without wearing "suitable clothing,""
