Thanks for your answer, I fiddled with the settings a lot by now and I'm getting a lot better. As you say, it's practice and patience. I thought there were some "do's" and "don'ts" rules of thump for scanning. Give me some more time and I will post the results to the public. Oliver |

By JJ - JJ@vintagewet.com Sun 26/03/06 12:00:51 GMT I'm pleased that you think my scans are "perfect". It helps a lot if the photos are "perfect" to start with, but there is a lot of work involved too in scanning and editing the image. A lot comes from practice and a great deal of patience and time.
Send me an e-mail at jj@vintagewet.com with one of your scans attached and I will try to help you.

In reply to Message (21419) To JJ and other "Scanners": How to make perfect scans?
By Hamburgwet - Sat 25/03/06 08:01:04 GMT Hello, I recently got a scanner and would like to scan some private wetlook stuff in order to contribute at last. But the tests I did so far are just not good, mainly the colours. There are so brilliant scans out there, like the latest update on wetfan's site. What's the secret? Thanks Oliver
