Hello everyone,

Our visits to various websites are being monitored constantly almost everywhere by the Police. I am enrolled into the Greek OpelClub site (an internet forum for Opel car owners) and we had made a post about those who were "victims" of abuse of power by the Greek Traffic Police during "routine" checks (they received body searches without an explanation about the reason, girls were searched by male policemen, and they caused damages to their cars for no apparent reason, for which they refused to give compensation afterwards). Almost everyone who posted a message in that specific forum has been arrested OUTSIDE HIS/HER HOUSE, was taken by plain-clothed policemen, who refused to show their ID cards, in unmarked cars to their local police station, and they had their computers confiscated for "speaking out against prosecutory authorities". All these actions were severe violations of the local laws. I know that this is off-topic, but I just wanted to give an indication as to the extent to which our internet browsing is monitored.

Don't know which girl you are talking about, but this one: http://www.point.lt/userinfo.php?id=15452 has not taken down her wetlook photos AND even added one since the link was posted here, so she can't be getting any hatemail, maybe some encouragement...

And also, one more think. If you enter POINT.LT, go to search and see the photos you DO NOT have to accept ANY TERMS OR CONDITIONS. So what the Internet police is doing is illegal. You are in your right to post every link to point.lt you like.

I would suggest everyone here to search POINT.LT in their free time and post links. As a protest to this kind of Internet terror. Eastern European countries have really had enough of censorship and law-disobeing police in the communist era. We must protest when such things happen now. Also you could provide us with an email adress to this so called police and we could bomb them with emails, telling them to stop breaking the law. Thie is really unheard of!

This is completly idiotic! Lithuania might have economically from the USSR. but some things haven't changed a bit! Internet police? Don't you have any constitutional rights in that country? You are allowed to post links wherever you want. Internet police should prosecute ONLY does sending some kind of hate mail. Especially that point.lt is an open sight. You can search and see all the pics without even registering the same goes for the email adresses. This is weird. Most such dating sites don't allow it. For instance on polish sympatia.pl you can only do one kind of primitve search (not the advanced one) and see just the main photo without registering and on polish fotka.pl you can't do any search. Both sites also show data only to registered users and some data only to paying users (sebd an sms get the code etc). As point.lt doesn't have any of these protections it is their fault and their faut only that everyone can post links. Prosecuting you is against international law and probobly against your law too if the police sticked to it. If they do ANYTHING to you, as much as a 10 lit fine, I'd suggest taking your fucked up Internet police to court and as far as Strasbourg if it's neccessary. Such behaviour within the EU is outrageus!

I have posted some photos from www.point.lt here. But now I must stop because I am prosecuted by internet police. Prosecution started when I have posted one link to girl's photo from point.lt.here. As you know in point.lt you can not only show your photos, but also you can write your diary, give your e-mail, phone number, adress and other personal information. The reason is that the girl whose link I posted has been atacked by hundreads of vulgar and hurtful sms, calls, e-mail letters. She reported about this chase to internet police, they find out that the link was posted from my ip. I was invited to poice office to explain away about this and they have forbiden me to post any www.point.lt link here.
