I just brought up IE for the first time in months (other than to go to the Micro$oft site) - and all mine are gone too. Weird. I figure it's just another M$ bug - or maybe Dubya is spying on us all and erased 'em :-(
Time to move to Firefox! |

In reply to Message (20083.1) What browser are you using?
By Anonymous - Sun 01/01/06 19:30:00 GMT What browswer are you using? What Operating System are you on? Without that info no one is going to be able to help you.
FWIF, I strongly suggest switching to Firefox (unless of course, that's already the browser you are using). |
In reply to Message (20083) Off Topic Help! Favorites Icons changed to IE symbols
By Getwet - Sun 01/01/06 18:54:21 GMT Just wondering if anyone know what's going on? When you click on Favorites and your list of favorites come up, all the icons before the name of the website has changed to the IE symbol of the e over a page. Example is the wetlook forum. The icon was a red square with WETLOOK in it, followed by Message List-WWCF. In favorites, Styx's website was represented by a black square with STYX inside followed by site discription. Was similar all through my Favorites. Now they've defaulted to the IE symbol for some reason. Still works, but liked the variety of sybols for the webpages. Under Tools, Advanced...the Enable visual styles of buttons is on.
Thanks, just wondering fi anyone know what's going on.
