You know, I hadn't even thought of the issues brought up about alleric reactions and other problems with sun exposure. That's a good point, and one that the writer didn't even think of.

The thoought occurred to me though; is the issue of whether or not people wear clothing in public pools/water parks, such a major thing that this is what she decides to write an opinion piece on? I mean, aren't there more pressing things to worry about than this?

As far as I know, no one has ever gotten a disease attributed to water park exposure due to clothed participants.

And the folks that mention all the chlorine are correct, not much in bacteria would survive.

Anyway, it was an odd topic for someone to write about in the first place.

Nope, I didn't give it to her in the fetish sense. Mostly about modesty issues and about how some people might have actual allergic reactions to the rays of the sun. A friend of mine knows such a gal. She has some kind of allergic reaction to the sunlight, and has to keep herself covered as much as possible, so she swims fully clothed. Sounds like a vampire true, but that's what she has. I just told the lady to examine the whole spectrum before she passes judgement, is all.

I don't think anyone will win an arguement with her by letting her know about the wetlook fetish. I think by talking to her about the sexual excitement people get from wet clothes, you'll only bolster her negative opinion about swimming in clothes. So I don't see much point in writing her and offering an opposing opinion. She ain't gonna buy it anyway.

I kept it as nice and plausible as I could...no cussing her out. But I did point out that she should look at the whole picture before she proclaims herself judge, jury, and executioner.
