I recently saw an ad for The Fog (remake of the 1980 John Carpenter movie). Trailer footage had some wetlook in it, but went by a little too quickly to be sure of any details.

One thing is for certain:

The remake stars Selma Blair in the role originally played by Adrienne Barbeau. I think this is another excellent example of the "fashion" phenomenon recently discussed here in regards to "The Deep".
