You know that is a great question. I don't have a really good answer for that. I can say that the tickets usally have some type of use release on them but I don't know if that covers third parties. My gut instinct is that it is a public place.

Is a privately owned amusement park where admission is charged considered under the law to be a public place? Are there any rules at the park about taking pictures, or a waiver signed by attendees?

I am an attorney and without commenting on the moral issues I must inform you that under American Law if someone is in a public space, then there is no expection of privacy. Thus you don't have to inform the subject of a photo that they are being filmed. It is my understanding that if the photo/video's are being sold then under some circumstances a release may be required. However, if the pictures are mearly being placed on a free website there is definately no problem. EU law is a bit more strict but that is the thumb nail rule that applies to my knowlage almost everywhere.

While on vacation at a large theme park in Orlando, Florida, it began to rain in the late afternoon. This is not unusual, but it kept raining, and rained harder and harder. This was now very unusual. Tourists visiting the park were leaving in droves. I had my video camera ready, safe and dry and inside the shop door near the entrance. You can see my frame grabs to see what people did to avoid the rain: nothing. Most just walked quickly to the exit, getting totally drenched. Enjoy!
