Hi Matz,

Thanks for your moral support. But I do feel it's important to point out that ignorance exists all over the globe. I think ignorance in America just gets amplified more because our country is so involved internationally and has such a bright light shone upon it. Simply because of that extra attention, I feel that's it's important to present the views from the other side of the aisle as well. When I think someone has a valid point, I'll give it to them, but I'll be damned if I'm going to change my core beliefs just to fall in line with King Bush.

Thanks for your post. You save some of the (rest of) the positive image the US had earlier in the world. Good to see there are still intelligent and informed americans. Instead, the other Anonymus who started this thread is simply a shame for all U.S. citizens (if he is one).

After 9/11, I, like many others, felt the war in Afghanistan was prudent and justified. I still feel that way today. However, Bush flat out violated article 51 of the UN Charter by invading Iraq (go ahead, look it up) which was specifically put in there to avoid another war of agression, like WW2. Saddam was a bad man and I don't think there are many sorry to see his days in power over, HOWEVER, he ran a secular government that abhored religious fundamentalism, although not for the same reason we do. It was a huge threat to his power base. I still have yet to see any of those weapons of mass destruction. Without ties to religious fundamentalists (which by the way, we seem to have plenty of in this country, just in a different religion), or weapons of mass destruction, there is no justification for a war of self-defense, which by default makes it a war of agression. I'm ashamed that our country not only committed such an act, but that there were enough people deceived by his propaganda and culture of fear that they let him have the job for another 4 years! The man has gone from just being a plain moron to being an outright tyrant. After Pearl Harbor, FDR said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear iteself!" Instilling fearlessness is true leadership and something I am proud of as an American. Bush and his administration lead by instilling fear. That's not leadership, that's manipulation. As a proud American, I stand fast and REFUSE to be manipulated and bullied by fear, from abroad, or from the White House! Keep in mind, the people who were actually on the ground and experienced the worst terror attck on US soil and who lost the most loved ones, didn't want Bush "protecting" them.

Everyone who denegrated George Bush and Tony Blair on the 4th of July must be proud of themselves for collaborating with the terrorists and giving them fuel to the fire. Every time you post an article denouncing them, you provide aid and comfort to the terrorists by making them believe that we agree. Thanks. Keep up the great work. I'm sure you'll be pissed if we don't save your asses when we don't save you from these Islamic fundamendalists when they try to shut down your access to wetlook on the internet.
