Sorry it was meant as a joke, but I can see that it brings forward some strong feelings. However, you should remember one thing:

Nobody deserves respect just for being a leader. You only deserve respect for what you have done. Therefore, it is not me, who should show respect for your president, but he, who should deserve my respect!
