     I  noticed  mywebmaster  WIR  responded to you, but this is one time I may come out and add my 2 cents and  should be well worth it.....You are looking for an asst.  My guess the way I read your post was a male...NOPE  get a female to asst you...The reasons:

1)  All new models feel  comfortable with another female, especially when it comes to outfits

   and changing.  They don't feel threatened.

2)  Get the asst (female) to do the set ups (appts) with your new girls.  I use Night Angel..She

    works hand in glove with me.. I run the ads and she returns the calls and sets up shoots with

    the new girls.  She also does ALL of the candid shots for me with the camera.  I still do

    all  the posed make up shots and videos.

3)  A female asst.  you need not worry  about hitting on the models unless she is a lesbian.

    Guy assistants that you use when they hit on the girls pisses them off and they won't come

    back.   I know I had this experience once..The bastard kept piinching the girls ass and]

    she told me either he stops or she's leaving.

4)_  Also  paying a female asst is not all that expensive, especially if they enjoy doing

     photography..Maybe a college girl doing it for an assignment, or my best suggestion

    is get one of your older models and have her work steady for you thru the summer as she

     is already clued in to wetlook and  can be a real asset to your work.

--get wet in creeks, fountains and lakes while holding a reflector and standing next to a beautiful woman in clinging wet clothes, and do this for hours

--pour water on models, spray them with a hose, splash them with water buckets, shower them

--mix up sudsy water and apply to models

--refraining from "creeping out" the model, hitting on the model, or doing anything else unprofessional in nature

Benefits:

--will get a CD of the shoot, which usually includes about 1,500 shots and 10 changes of outfit

--access to cooler of beverages and snacks during shoot

Drawbacks:

--must be in Kansas City area (or get there at own expense) or to shoots in Central MO, Wichita, Nebraska, Topeka

--no pay

--not allowed to take own shots

--could wind up with sunburn

I know this is a lousy job with crummy pay and benefits. We don't even have a health plan! And the career ladder is practically nonexistent. However, if in spite of all of that you are interested, post me your email address.

PS. In the off chance there is a female who is interested, you'd be my first preference, 'cause I think models are more comfortable without a large male audience.
