I did not do the editing back in 1992 when that Weeki Wachee river shoot was made. My business partner Sean did all the editing because back then there was no such thing a consumer based PC editing on a standard desktop pc, you had to have an Avid workstation and studio editing facilities that I did not have. I was not able to do my own editing until 2001 when desktop editing became available.

Also, all the bridesmaids dresses and wedding dress you see in that video were loaned to me by "Wetfan" who also published the Wetlook Newsletter in those days. He shipped all the dresses to me. Things were very different back in those days.....i.e. the general public were very disdainful of sexy  models and producers showing up at public parks and rivers to do photoshoots (whereas today this is quite commonly done on tv shows like Next Top Model).....so we had a few people from the public complaining and calling in the Park Rangers and cops on us....and they were saying "some porno people are shooting videos on the river".

When the Park Rangers asked what we were doing.....I remember my partner telling them "we are shooting a fashion piece for Italian TV"....ha ha

These days "Trash the Dress" shoots are so common they have become as deadly boring as watching paint dry....and nobody bats an eye lid......but back in 1992 this was way before the TTD craze became popular.....and the locals who passed by on boats just laughed because they though we were just a bunch of weirdos.

MK I still have most of the old VHS clip tapes I bought from you decades back and I still pull them out once in a while to view them, quality still not bad as far as old tapes go. My favorites of course I transferred to DVD, still look at those on occasion as well. Boy oh boy I looked forward to those tapes showing up in my mail box, I think I bought every tape you had that included even a few seconds of a wet bride or formal dress, got me started! My favorite was the "weeki Watchee River trip" and to this day I watch it and marvel at the perfect music you included, your production and your editing was top notch! Did you do your own editing?. Still a fan of Jo in that blue dress.

I got rid of thousands of VHS tapes 7 years ago and I got rid of hundreds of DVDs when I moved to a smaller house 2 years ago and no longer had the storage space. I made a list of the remaining items 1 year ago and posted it on my website a year ago....this is what remains of that list

http://wamtec.com/entrance/tapelists/RECYCLE_WAM.html

I have not updated this list in over a year, so if you are interested in any of the items not marked as "Taken" then email me and I will check my shelves and see what is still there.

In the 1990's I once had over  8000 VHS tapes stored in 2 spare bedrooms at my house. I ended up throwing almost all of them away in dumpsters as I was converting them all to DVDs in the early 2000's. I could not even give them away to my customers because of the high shipping costs to even give them away for free.

Now I am in the same position with DVD disks and have thousands of them in storage that are unwanted. I placed a big list of my old DVD items on my site 2 years ago, offering them for $1 each if folks were willing to pay for shipping and very few people were interested in taking them either.

VHS tapes can be used as a door stop or paper weight....but you only need a couple of them to do that.

Old DVD disks can be recycled in much more creative ways......I saw pics of some guy who did a body wrap of his BMW using old Cds and DVD disks....and some people have made nice rockeries when using then as landscaping in their garden.

IS there still a market for VHS-tapes of wetlook. I have for example some old tapes for Erik Elsas from his early years..
