Seriously, I can understand someone saying "My favorite team won!"

But saying: "We won!"... I can understand the emotion of the moment, but it was the team that won the game, not the fans and observers.

Hell, in all honesty, I was just waiting for the jackassery of car fires and terrorism (that usually follows Futbol games) to start. I mean, that IS the traditional celebration/protest procedure for futbol fans, right?

Folks, it's just a game. You have a winner and a loser. Game's over. Life goes on.

No one's country got invaded. A war was not fought. It was just two sports collectives facing off.

Crying? Seriously. Wow....did Germany just invade some South American country? Was it the rise of the Fourth Reich, and everyone in South America must now say "Sieg heil, mein fartenfuhrer!" ?

No...it was just a game.

Grats to the Germans. Sucks for the other team.
