I read something about animal trainers clothing many years ago (and the text was already quite old then):
Someone asked why animal trainers in circus often just wear a thin white shirt and not a heavy (leather) jacket for protection. A trainer simply answered: For the claws of a big cat there is no difference between the shirt amd the jacket. If the cat wants to hurt you, it does, no matter what you are wearing.
Now for the trainers swimming with the cats: If everything is ok during the training, then the claws are retracted, so risk of being scratched accidentally should be close to zero. |

By Jessica - friends@fantasystockings.com Wed 04/04/12 04:32:16 GMT Website: http://fantasywetlook.com// www.fantasywetlook.com I found an article (and a photo) that says that female trainers in South Carolina swim with the tigers in the pool. On the photo these women are wearing ONLY small bikini swimsuits. Are they out of their mind not to swim fully clothed?
I love animals, but I would be afraid to get scratched by the claws. I would for sure prefer to have some protective clothing in the pool to avoid stratches for practical reasons and of course because I also happen to be a wetlook fan.
I wrote an article about it on my blog and 3 other young women who are into wetlook (you know who they are, I bet) gave their opinion on what they would wear for such a swim.
