The post that you are referring to may have been the one that offered the free RapidShare viewer. I tried to download it and it was a Trojan Horse. I checked with AOL and they said that they were aware of the virus. I think the name was IEAntiVirus08. It claimed to be an anti virus program but it was an invasive virus in itself. I checked with Norton and they had it listed and killed it in my computer. AntiVirus08 blocked several of my web sites and continuously caused popups.

I guess the moral of it is "don't download any FREE software if you don't know the origin".

Thanks for posting. Looking back at post 36208, others who have rapidshare problems will also be thankful for this. I never touch Rapidshare.
