Wearing clothes in pools are a problem with the filtering system which is why most public and some private pools don't allow them. Skirts seem not to be much of a problem more or less by the simplicity of it's makeup and has less tendencies to fray with time and wear.
Skirts made for swimming are becoming more common around pools, though most women take them off before going into the water - of course they do have a bathing suit on beneath it. |
In reply to Message (34733) Are skirts becoming more accepted swimwear?
By Joe - Mon 17/03/08 13:49:59 GMT I was at the pool at my apartment last year, there is a sign stating regular swimwear only due to the filters getting blocked. I remember 2 girls in gut off jeans getting asked to leave the pool yet at the same time a girl was swimming in a bikini top and a regular knee length skirt but nothing was said to her. So my question is are skirts now more commonly accepted as swimwear, and will regular clothes be accepted someday soon? |
