I wonder ... in the cinema it may not make a difference, because you can see pretty well in the dark due to your eyes adjusting. But looking at a computer screen or a TV in a well-lit room, stops your eyes from adjusting. It's just as annoying though when you watch programmes on TV and they're too dark to make anything out, but at least I can turn the brightness on the TV -- I have a hoser of a monitor that's on maximum brightness (and contrast) already AND boosted by the NVIDIA software with the video card to crank out more brightness :P
I can only suggest you turn out the lights/close the curtains and if you're looking at a video on the PC, put the video player into full-screen mode to cut out any brightness from the taskbar etc ... |

By Concerned citizen - Wed 24/01/07 13:04:23 GMT Why is EVERY decent picture or video filmed in the pitch dark where you can barely see anything? Please answer me! I rented several new movies on DVD and ALL of them took place in the dark, can't see anything!! Has anyone noticed this or is it just me? Not to mention You-Tube where most shots are VERY DARK? Not to mentioned extremely poor quality videos.
Thanks.
