We had every reason to suspect that Saddam was developing WMD. He would not let UN weapons inspectors into his "presidential compounds". For 12 FREAKING YEARS he kept this up. How long were we supposed to give him. He had pelnty of opportunities to avoid war and he wouldn't comply with the UN mandate to allow unrestricted access to weapons inspectors. Saddam also paid rewards to families of Palestenian suicude bombers in Israel. "If the US would have left Saudi Arabia after the Kuwait war..." I guess you want to give into terrorists' demands. If terrorists get what they want, there will be more terrorism, not less! They would like to impose an Islamic Republic of America and even an Islamic Republic of the World. If that ever happened, this forum would surely be outlawed and we would all be sent to hard labor camps. |

By waterjoe - Fri 08/07/05 00:28:27 GMT Saddam was a horrible dictator, he is responsible for a lot of violence and uncounted killed people - but in opposite to Hitler- he was active only inside the Iraq (one try outside -Kuwait 1990- and he has learned, how he can be smashed). A bloody despot and dictator, who let kill his on peoples - so what? We had and still have a plenty of them. This was not a reason to invade the country. This invasion was a big mistake by the U.S. and they (and others, too) will have problems about it for a long long time. All problems, who would have been avoidable.
Suicide-bombers against U.S. citizens (and others), Al Quaida in the Iraq, the bombing in London, Madrid and on Bali, everything wouldn't have happend without the invasion. If the U.S.Army would have left Saudi Arabia after the Kuwait-war in 1991, Al Quaida wouldn't exist (or not with this power) and 9/11 wouldn't have happend.
9/11 for the U.S., Madrid for Spain, London for the UK, Bali for the Australians. Who will be the next? Canada and Poland, probably. At first the U.S. biggeest supporters, then to continue with other countries, perhaps Germany also (for the troops in Afghanistan).
P.S. And atomic or biological boms in the Iraq - the biggest lie, created by the U.S.Administration, supported by Tony Blair.

By Anonymous - Fri 08/07/05 00:12:58 GMT Oh, really? Have you read any actual accounts from Iraq? I mean; aside from the popular pols? Would you rather Saddam Hussen be in power? I'm pretty sure the Iraqi people would beg to differ. Maybe we should have left Hitlet in power. You asshats would be singing a different tune. |

By waterjoe - Thu 07/07/05 23:53:11 GMT Have you thought -just a little bit-, when and why Al Qaida was founded? And why Al Qaida now is very active in the Iraq? Before 2003 Saddam Hussein had nearly nothing to do with Bin Laden. |
In reply to Message (17014) You must be Proud!
By Anonymous - Thu 07/07/05 21:51:47 GMT Everyone who denegrated George Bush and Tony Blair on the 4th of July must be proud of themselves for collaborating with the terrorists and giving them fuel to the fire. Every time you post an article denouncing them, you provide aid and comfort to the terrorists by making them believe that we agree. Thanks. Keep up the great work. I'm sure you'll be pissed if we don't save your asses when we don't save you from these Islamic fundamendalists when they try to shut down your access to wetlook on the internet.
To our true friends, we'll always be there for you!!! God bless our allies.
