It's something I like to see too.
And there is plenty of that sort of content... even if you might say "never enough".
"A Splash of Glamour" has some videos of fully clothed (and nicely turned out) women swimming fully clothed.
EuroWAM has some... although I don't think any is current, and you'd have to sift through their archives to find what they've done before.
I can understand the reasons you might not see more than you do...
The models have to be good swimmers. George Prevais (Australia) did a lot of mature wetlook - great outfits - but very rarely did any of his models actually swim. His last model was a non-swimmer so only ever waded around his pool (much to my disappointment). There is some older video (1990s) from WAMTEC featuring models like Jo Bache. Several of those girls looked like they were capable of underwater ballet... not something I've seen elsewhere.
To get decent shots, the camera has to be in the water - means more expense because it almost certainly requires a waterproof camera (or camera housing), even if there are no underwater shots. Although, once you've got a model into a swimming pool, you almost have to have some underwater views.
Pools are expensive to own, maintain, or simply rent. Wetlook Unlimited frequently used a hotel pool - I suspect he filmed "guerilla style" to keep costs down, because it's fairly obvious in a number of his videos that other people show up, limiting what he and his model could do. They are never caught in frame, but the models react to their presence in some way or other. To get a decent result and avoid the sort of problems WLU encountered, you need a controlled environment, which means you have to own your own pool or rent a facility... either way, it's a chunk of money. I suppose you could use the great outdoors - a beach, lake, river, etc., but I should think it would be difficult to "block" (filmmaking term) a decent shot in a "wild" environment like that. Far easier to do it in a controlled environment like a pool (indoor or outdoor).
I'm sure producers like MK could add some further insights.

In reply to Message (58501) to all the producers
By sjakie - Sun 14/07/13 17:04:28 GMT I know you all do your best and make some wetlook with the best intentions. But most videosets are girls getting wet, standing or sitting in the water, under the shower, or in a bathtub. What I really miss in your sets is the fully clothed swim, I mean really swimming. No feet touching the floor or bottom. Tarzan is a good example. Most of his girls swims (short) in his video's. I've seem some sets from Jurgen, Jens and a little less from Eric. But most at time the updates are the standing/sitting video's. Maybe i am the only one here with these preferences, maybe there are more.
Is this because of the models, they can't swim, or it is to heavy for the girls, or to difficult to make those swimming video's, or is this because of there is no market for those video's.
keeping up all your good work, but think a little bit at me in the future.
