What I do is get a backpack, like you would use in school, put some bricks or weights of some kind in it, strap it to your back, real tight so it wont move side to side too much, leave the zipper open just enough to let air out, and jump in. Just be very careful and make sure you can swim back up quickly if need to. |
In reply to Message (54043) How can I sink better?
By Jessica - friends@fantasystockings.com Thu 19/04/12 07:54:05 GMT Website: http://fantasywetlook.com// www.fantasywetlook.com Well, I tried to shoot in the pool with an undrewater camera and I wanted to get a graceful underwater shot of me. But I just don't sink well. It only works out if I actually dive.
Why is that?
I knew a lifeguard who told me that some ethnic backgrounds naturally sink better then others (heavy bones or something like that) and thus give lifeguard something to do rather then sit and watch. I didn't believe him at first, but then my x-friend from Sri-Lanka said that she sinks very well. I even witnessed it when I tried to teach her how to swim properly and she'd go down rather then forward.
So is this hereditary that I am not a sinker or am I simply not doing something right?
