When we were living in a flat with a bathtub, my wife did a few photo series with the bathtub full of water. I used the following "trick": I put a little bit of blue colored shampoo in the water. This way any dye from clothing doesnt become visible, as the blue of the shampoo covers any other color.

I have a question for producers or any photographers who shoot models clothed in bathtubs. How do you keep the water from getting dark? Especially if the model is wearing shoes. For example in the wetlook hunter pictures, the girls wear the same shoes and clothes they wore on the street, but the water doesnt get cloudy when they step into the bathtubs. What is the trick?
