"Wipeout" looks like a US version of a Japanese show I think is known as "Takeshi's Castle". Yes, people get wet and/or muddy, but in athletic gear, helmets, knee/elbow pads, etc... not exactly glamour getup.

"I Survived..." although a different (also obviously Japanese-inspired) format is probably no better wetlook-wise than "Wipeout".

Starting next Tuesday, June 24th, at 8PM ET/PT, 7PM CT/MT, there's going to be a summer series called Wipeout. From the ads I've been seeing, it looks like there'll be wet and muddy action on the show. Following that will be another summer game show "I Survived a Japanesse Game Show" which might also have wetlook.
