Weird. In the case of What Boys Want (and it's not HIS site, silly ;) you can get around this by visiting the site first and then clicking the link to the image. Once the site recognises that you've visited it, it won't check for the remainder of that session whether the link to the image came from another site.
In a general case, you can solve this problem in two ways:
* Copy the URL (e.g. right-click on it, Copy Shortcut (Internet Explorer) or Copy Link Location (Firefox)), open a new window or tab, and paste in the address. Now, the browser won't tell the site that you followed the link from another site
or
* Drag the link into the address bar or the tab bar. This has the same effect. In Internet Explorer, drag the link into the address bar. In Firefox, you can also drag the link to the blank gap at the end of the tab bar, between the last tab and the Close Tab button (the white X). This opens a new tab with the page in. |
