You know there's a lot of Russian speakers in Ukraine, right? Like, that's one of the main bullshit reasons the Russians gave to justify this war. Zelensky himself is a native Russian speaker. By now, that should really be common knowledge to anyone who's been paying at least a little attention to this war, especially if you're from Eastern Europe like you claim to be.
And if you need concrete evidence that Wetlooker's teams are Ukrainian: https://vip.wetlooker.com/product/set-8051/ This set was released in 2021, and you can clearly see the town's name on the sign in the background. And this also goes for WetLive, as one of the girls on this set (Tanya) has also modeled for them. |
In reply to Message (93764) Producers posing as Ukrainian to get support though really Russian?
By gww - Thu 02/03/23 23:27:50 GMT The topic below may be controversial.
I am a member of the streaming tier of Andrii's WetLive on UMD, the photographer seems to be a contributor to Wetlooker also, he uses some of the same locations, though as Wetlive he publishes under his name. The quality of the content is not the topic here, he has nice models, some appearing on Wetlooker also.
Every video starts with a title Support Ukraine, Wetlooker also states they are from Ukraine. But when you look at the videos, the signage in the shower and pool areas is in Russian, not Ukrainian.
If Andrii is really from Ukraine, I highly doubt he would do shoots in Russia right now. And I highly doubt Ukrainian pools would have Russian signs on their walls.
Furthermore, I have purchased many videos from Wetlooker and the models always seem to talk in Russian, not Ukrainian. (I can spot the difference. Unfortunately, I had mandatory Russian lessons under the opression of the USSR in Czechoslovakia during the Communist years before 1989, so I consider myself quite qualified to make the statements above.)
So, how is it then really? Is Wetlooker and its contributors really Ukrainian, or just posing as Ukrainians to garner more support in this unfortunate situation? I feel for the victims of the war but I can't stand it if somebody wants to profit from it.
If I am wrong, I apologise.
