Some of those rental tuxes are all polyester. I got a couple at Goodwill cheap when a tux rental startup failed, and donated their inventory. I've abused the crap out of them, water, mud, shaving cream, washer and dryer, and they come back for more. Wool or rayon, water maybe, shaving foam stains, haven't tried whipped cream. In my experience, most evening gowns and wedding dresses handle water pretty well also :). Love to watch wedding reception pool jumps. Unfortunately, most wedding dresses don't look any different soaked, too thick.

Every good party should end up this way. I've had that formal wetlook couple fantasy.

My ex, before I knew her attended a fancy outdoor wedding for a colleague at a country estate. She took a girlfriend as her 'plus one'.

They both ended up frolicking in the backyard pool, in party wear. Others joined in . I think frequently many are too

inhibited to start or join in. A friend dragged his maid of honour into a pool at another wedding, wearing his tux. His quote.. " it's rented". She was upset the dye ran in her shoes.

Just wondering. My strongest desire is to have my sweetie push me into a pool, or drag me into the shower, her wearing a white satin gown or wedding dress, stockings, heels, and nothing else, me wearing my tuxedo. It has happened exactly once, and I'll remember it forever. Am I alone in this? Every thing I can find on the net about guys getting soaked in formal attire seems to be on gay oriented sites, aside from a few wedding shoots. Does anyone else here want to get soaked with your sweetie in formal attire, or am I even more of a a weirdo?
